Booking.com gives you the option to mark a card as invalid when the card is not able to make payments into the system. When you try to charge a card and it fails, you can mark the credit card as invalid in Booking.com.
The 'mark credit card as invalid’ button will be removed and will only appear again once the guest has updated the Credit Card details.
Good to know
The guest has 48 hours to update Credit Card details. If they do not update them, the hotelier can open the reservation in their Booking.com extranet and cancel the reservation.
