The Payment Is Not Linked to a Reservation

tthWhen you have a payment coming in through your RaccoonPay dashboard that has not been linked this is visible when the payment has no reservation or “unknown” is displayed in the reservation section. When receiving payments it’s important that the reservation number is entered otherwise the payment will be unallocated.


To link a reservation please contact our support team by opening a new ticket with the payment you want to link.


To ensure that this does not happen, we recommend that when taking payments from guests you add the payment from the reservation itself so that the payment is automatically linked.


How to initiate a Payment from Within the Reservation?

  1. In the reservation, navigate to the bottom right of the screen. Open the Card Machine tab in the payments section.
  2. Insert the amount you wish to charge and click on the green button CHARGE VIA CARD MACHINE.
  3. The indicated amount will appear on the card machine. The guest can then proceed to pay using their desired payment method.
  4. The payment will be reflected in the reservation and in the RaccoonPay Dashboard within a few moments.


Tip: You can take partial payment by entering a part payment value, if no value is placed here the total amount will be charged by default.
