RoomRaccoon System Updates: Release 23.3

Welcome to our third product update of the year!

We couldn't be more excited to share what we've built over the past few weeks. We proudly present our newest features and updates to maximise your occupancy and streamline your hotel management. 

RoomRaccoon 23.3 unlocks the Raccoon Price Checker and Multi-property booking engine to increase your commission-free direct bookings, consolidated invoice statements to keep track of outstanding payments and maintain a healthy cash flow, and many more. 

New Features 

Raccoon Price Checker

We have launched the Raccoon Price Checker to our Booking Engine to increase your commission-free direct bookings. 

We all know that guests love to compare and be convinced they are booking the best deal on your Booking Engine. The Price Checker pulls real-time rates from your Channel Manager linked to booking channels and compares them to your direct booking rates. 

When your guest selects a room category, a comparison widget pops up. Of course, you must have previously set up competitive rates for your direct bookers. 

Raccoon Price Checker is included in our Tier 3 (Premium) and Tier 4 (Enterprise) subscriptions. All you need to do is request the activation by selecting the Price Checker tab in your Booking Engine.

Multi-property booking engine 

Are you running multiple properties? We have good news for you. You can now advertise all your different properties on one screen in our Booking Engine. With a simple dropdown, you can list your properties' locations and names and let guests search for availability to find the best hotel for their needs. Guests can easily switch between locations that drive more direct bookings, especially if the initially chosen property is unavailable.

How to set this up? That is the easy part. In your Booking Engine settings, you will find a new checkbox. Please enable this checkbox in all your linked properties to add them to the dropdown on your Booking Engine.

This Multi-property booking engine feature is part of your RoomRaccoon subscription when you have multiple RoomRaccoon accounts.

New Connections

Salto KS

Elevate the guest experience by offering your guests a contactless check-in and check-out with the Salto KS. The key connectivity uses key codes to give guests mobile room access after completing the online check-in or when they check in at your front desk.

Enhancements

Consolidated Invoice Statements 

Debtors List News: Invoice Statements

You can now consolidate several invoices belonging to a booker and send them as one invoice statement. Previously you could only send a payment reminder for each invoice. You can find the invoices in your debtor's list that will show you an overview of unpaid or partially paid invoices. 

This will help you keep track of outstanding payments and offers an easy way to remind your bookers about outstanding amounts that they can settle immediately online.
