How to Customise the Booking Engine Link

On RoomRaccoon you can customise the booking engine link to suit your preference for example if you only want to show one room type, link with active discount code or you can create a link with pre-set dates.

To access your Booking Engine link

1. Click on the booking engine module

2. Navigate to the booking engine tab

3. Scroll down until you see the “Book” button

Example: https://booking.roomraccoon.pt/monza-boutique-hotel/en/

Show only one room type

You can have your link direct you to a single room type that you have set up in your property settings.

1. Access the Booking Engine overview in account settings.

2. Scroll down to “Direct link to a specific category”. Click on the drop-down

3. Select the Room Type/Category

4. Click on “Show only this category”

5. Click Save

Link with an active discount code

If you are sending a quote to direct customers, put in your email the link to your Booking Engine with an already active discount

1. Open your booking engine

2. At the end of the link add ? coupon = RACCOON-DIRECT where the text RACCOON-DIRECT is the name of your discount code

Create a link that directly displays specific dates

This link will show preset dates on your booking engine which would have been requested by the customer.

1. Open your booking engine

2. At the end of your link the Add: ? DateStart = 2022-12-14 & dateEnd = 2022-12-17 (change dates directly from link)
