Dormakaba Guest Access Integration

The Dormakaba integration allows you to issue secure keycards directly from RoomRaccoon, streamlining your check-in process and improving the guest experience. Dormakaba is a globally trusted electronic door lock system, offering flexible, secure access control tailored to hospitality needs.

How to Activate the Connection

To set up the integration, please follow these steps:

  1. Provide your static, external IP address

    • Ask your IT or internet provider for this information.

  2. Open and share the communication port

    • Your network administrator must open a communication port.

    • Once open, send us the port number.

    • Note: RoomRaccoon cannot open the port on your behalf.

  3. Provide the encoder ID

    • This is typically 01, but confirm with your Dormakaba system.

  4. Let RoomRaccoon handle the rest

    • We’ll connect the system and complete the door mapping for you.

Note: This integration uses one upgrade slot.

How It Works

Once activated, a door icon will appear in every RoomRaccoon reservation.

To issue a keycard

  1. Open the reservation.

  2. Click the door icon.

  3. Enter the guest’s check-in and check-out times.

  4. Click Create.

A valid key is generated automatically for the guest's stay period.

Good to Know

  • Dormakaba system setup (IP, port, network) must be handled by your IT provider or Dormakaba directly.

  • RoomRaccoon facilitates the integration only after receiving all required technical details.

  • Ideal for properties looking to simplify access control and reduce manual steps.
