Google Hotel Ads

Google Hotel Ads is a paid service that directs prospective bookers to your booking engine and hotel's website. It allows you to show real-time rates and availability on the Google Search results page so future guests can book directly on your website.

Using Google Hotel Ads increases your hotel’s visibility on a global scale for a much lower cost that most OTAs charge.

How Google Hotel Ads works

By providing potential guests a preview of your property both on the Google search engine and Google Maps, travellers get to view photos and guest reviews, compare and pick out the best deals, and explore the surrounding areas.

Guests also get to filter their searches according to the amenities on offer to identify which hotels provide the best prices and how well they are rated, making it the easiest and most effective way of finding accommodation worldwide.

Google Hotel Ads simply takes your lowest rate and makes it visible on its search engine linking it straight to your direct booking engine.

Benefits of advertising on GHA

  • Global Visibility: Boost your property's presence across international markets.

  • Increased Direct Traffic: Drive more visitors to both your website and Booking Engine.

  • Advertise Your Best Rates: Highlight your most competitive rates to attract price-sensitive guests.

  • Encourage Repeat Direct Bookings: Guests who discover your hotel through Google Hotel Ads are more likely to book directly for future stays.

  • Higher Revenue & Brand Awareness: Increase your hotel’s revenue while strengthening your brand presence online.

  • Lower Commission Rates: Pay significantly less in commissions compared to other OTAs like Booking.com or Expedia.

  • Commission Based on Stay: Only pay commission for actual stays, not on bookings made and later cancelled.

  • Better ROI: Increase your visibility without paying the high commissions charged by traditional OTAs.

  • No Middleman: Guests book directly, eliminating the need for intermediaries.

  • Direct PMS Integration: Easily manage all reservations through your Property Management System.

  • Transparent Price Comparison: Google displays your Booking Engine rates alongside external channels, allowing guests to choose the best offer.

We offer all our new customers the option of advertising on Google Hotels. Follow these simple steps to activate your Google Hotel Ads

The Commissions

By signing up for Google Hotel Ads with RoomRaccoon, you only pay commissions per stay, so you don’t have to pay if a guest cancels a reservation. RoomRaccoon provides you with a monthly invoice for the reservations booked through Google Hotel Ads and ensures all commissions are paid and up to date, giving you peace of mind and time to get on with other important tasks.

Good To Know

Once activated, your hotel will take up to 2 weeks to reflect on the Google Search Engine. Google Hotel Ads are not suitable for vacation rentals and Google changes made to reservations won’t reflect if they are made after the reservation dates.

  • A property with no minimum stay greater than seven days.

  • A property with a business address and property name listed publicly.

  • Rooms in which paying guests can stay.

  • Hotel prices that contain pricing and availability information about a hotel room for a selected itinerary.

  • A front desk or on-site management?

  • Phone number.

  • Fixed walls and plumbing.
