How to Set up an STO Rate

What is an STO Rate?

In the hospitality industry, hoteliers provide quotes to travel agents and tour operators at a discounted rate (below the rack rate). We call this rate an STO rate, which stands for Sell To Operators.

To create a new STO rate

Navigate to the My Property tab on the left of the screen.

Create a new rate type with the same rates you push to your other platforms.

Specify that it is an STO rate in the name, i.e 1 Guest (STO)

Select the applicable occupancy. Select that this rate is also a no prepayment rate and that it is shown only for corporate arrangements.

5. Save the rate type and do the same for all relevant occupancies.
