How to Insert a Google Map on your Website

You may wish to add a Google Map section or element to your website so that visitors can get a better visual of your location. You can pin one or multiple locations, choose from many color themes and customize the settings to your liking.


You may choose to pin a single location to your property, or even insert a multi-location map on an itinerary page if you would like to show guests where they can enjoy local activities in and around the area of your hotel.


Guests can easily click through from your website to open Google Maps on their device to find their way, making it a useful addition to your site.




How to Insert a Google Map


BEFORE YOU BEGIN: 

Open Google Maps on your desktop, search your property to pin, and copy the official address of the location you would like to pin. For example:

9 Lower Burg St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000 (This is one of the RoomRaccoon Headquarter locations on Google Maps)
