When RoomRaccoon pushes invoices and payments to Sage Business Cloud Accounting, it streamlines the process of allocating payments and reduces the need for manual data entry. RoomRaccoon will post revenue and payments daily, categorized into specific ledgers for better financial tracking.

How to Activate Sage Business Cloud Accounting in your RoomRaccoon Account
Login to RoomRaccoon:
Request the integration with Sage Business Cloud Accounting by going into the RoomRaccoon Marketplace on the platform, and clicking ‘Activate’.
RoomRaccoon will send you a link to authorise the connection with Sage Business.
You can authorize the connection by clicking on the link provided to you by RoomRaccoon.
This link will redirect you to the Sage Business Cloud Accounting login page where you will need to grant RoomRaccoon permission by clicking “Allow Access.”
Configure the Integration in RoomRaccoon**:
Add all the necessary mapping for the integration.
Add Ledgers: Set up ledgers for room revenue, food, beverages, add-ons, etc.
Add Payment Ledgers: Configure payment ledgers such as credit card payments, EFT, VCC, and other payment methods.
** Please note that a RoomRaccoon Accounting Representative will assist you in configuring your RoomRaccoon system to meet the standards Sage requires.
Reporting and Reconciliation
Since the RoomRaccoon system is largely oriented toward cash-based accounting, daily postings ensure that your financial data reflects real-time cash flow.
Additional reports from RoomRaccoon, like the Deposits Report(s), help you manage future revenue and prepayments, bridging the gap between cash-based and accrual-based accounting needs.
Ledgers in Sage Business Cloud Accounting System
Payment Ledgers: While payment ledgers are not mandatory, having at least one payment ledger is necessary to accurately track payments.
Sales Ledger: Ensure you have one sales ledger named “other” to capture any unallocated items.
By integrating RoomRaccoon with Sage Business Cloud Accounting, you can streamline your financial processes, reduce manual work, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records with ease.
