In your RoomRaccoon calendar overview, we want you to recognise the status of a booking instantly. That's why we have colour-coded this view for your convenience.
Reservation status colour codes
Blue: Confirmed Booking. Most of your future bookings would be blue.
Brown: Option/Provisional. This means the room is accepting options. In instances where you frequently house wedding couples, an option is a “not confirmed booking” yet but blocks the availability of the room for as long as you want to hold the option.
Green: Checked in. When you have checked in a guest, the reservation status should be changed from “booked” to “checked in.”
Light Blue: Checked-in Online. This is a guest that has made use of the online check-in form.
Grey: Checked out. Changing the booking status from checked-in to check-out locks the booking, meaning a definite invoice is being prepared for this booking.
Stone Blue: Checked out online. This is for guests who check out online using the email link.
Grey-striped: Blocked. This room is blocked. Blocking a room in your RoomRaccoon PMS prevents it from being bookable via booking channels, yet the occupancy does not count as a booking in your reports.
Blue-striped: blocked by parent child rooms. This could be for example that your full villa has been booked, so the individual rooms are not available for separate bookings.
Payment status colour codes
Next to the reservation status, you can also see the payment status in the calendar overview via the colour-coded corners.
Orange: no payment received.
Yellow: partial payment received.
No coloured corner: full payment received.
Linked colour codes
Dark blue corner: linked to another room.
Green corner: linked to another reservation.
Finally, there are the linked colour codes. For more information on linked reservations please read this article.
