How Do Provisional Bookings Work

Modified on Tue, 11 Apr, 2023 at 11:40 AM

Provisional bookings are bookings that have been reserved for a specific date but haven’t been confirmed yet. These bookings usually are not guaranteed bookings and therefore have no prepayment/deposit or a payment method.

On RoomRaccoon, provisional bookings are displayed in brown on your agenda

Provisional bookings are usually direct reservations that come through phone or email as an enquiry and have not been confirmed in the form of a prepayment or deposit.

Good to know

  • This option is beneficial if you house many wedding guests where it blocks out the availability yet the booking is not confirmed.
