How to Connect to LekkeSlaap (TripCo)

Note: LekkeSlaap is a booking channel created by Tripco. These two names refer to the same platform.


How does the LekkeSlaap integration work?

You're in charge of pricing and occupancy management by simply sending your rates, availability, and restrictions to LekkeSlaap. RoomRaccoon's Channel Manager will automatically update any bookings and changes made to the reservations on Lekkeslaap to RoomRaccoon.

 

Please note: LekkeSlaap’s integration with RoomRaccoon is a two-step process, so the connection must be requested on both platforms. 


Important to know

LekkeSlaap may take partial or full payment from the guest before the booking is confirmed, depending on the setup in LekkeSlaap. This means that when the reservation is received in RoomRaccoon, it should display the corresponding payment percentage.


Requesting the Connection

Before you connect to LekkeSlaap, you need to set up your rates in RoomRaccoon.

  • We recommend you use derived rates for your channels.

If you do not use derived rates currently in RoomRaccoon, we may ask you to fix your structure before setting up the connection. 


Adding existing LekkeSlaap reservations to your RoomRaccoon calendar

With LekkeSlaap reservations, we usually import the reservations manually through the import sheet during implementations, or you do it manually. If you do not add the future LekkeSlaap reservations by yourself in RoomRaccoon, or provide us with the import sheet during the implementation, RoomRaccoon is not responsible for overbookings or any other issues you could face.


Important: Any modifications for these manual reservations in the future need to be done manually, as we do not have a way of changing that for you.


Requesting the connection with LekkeSlaap

  1. Please reach out to LekkeSlaap support and ask them to set RoomRaccoon as your channel manager so that we can complete the connection on our end.

    • Important: Existing LekkeSlaap customers should reach out to activations@lekkeslaap.co.za, while new customers should contact sales@lekkeslaap.co.za to activate their account and receive the Account ID required. Please mention that you would like to integrate with RoomRaccoon. 

  2. Reach out to our  customer support team and provide them with the following information:

    • Your LekkeSlaap Account ID. 

    • Provide us with a match-up of Category Types in RoomRaccoon vs Category Types in LekkeSlaap, with the unique channel ID of that category 

(Example: RoomRaccoon: Double Room - LekkeSlaap: Corner Double (123421))

  • Provide us with a match-up of Rate Types in RoomRaccoon vs Rate Types in LekkeSlaap, with the unique channel ID of that Rate 

(Example: RoomRaccoon: Room Only OTA - LekkeSlaap: BAR RO (abc123))


Important: Please remember that we can only connect a category and rate once per channel. This means that if you connect a Category A from RoomRaccoon to Category A in LekkeSlaap, you cannot connect Category A in RoomRaccoon again to Category B from LekkeSlaap. The same logic applies to rate types.
